On December 19, 2025, Charles River Insurance Brokerage, Inc. disclosed the incident to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office. Public reporting indicates the compromised data may include detailed personal and financial information belonging to both employees and customers. The currently available information does not specify the exact system(s) affected, when the company first became aware of the incident, whether third-party forensic investigators were retained, or when notice letters were sent to affected individuals. The breach has been reported to affect at least 232 individuals in Massachusetts.
