What Is This About?

If you recently received a letter or an email from Florida Reliability Coordinating Council informing you that your sensitive personal and protected health information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. Florida Reliability Coordinating Council recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information.

What Happened?

Between March 30, 2026 and April 1, 2026, the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council (FRCC) experienced a security incident in which an unauthorized party copied files from FRCC’s computer systems. FRCC reported that it secured its network and restored systems from backups. FRCC also conducted a review to determine what information was involved and to identify impacted individuals. FRCC publicly disclosed the incident on May 15, 2026 and began notifying affected individuals. Based on the available information, at least 832 individuals were impacted, including at least 831 Texas residents and one New Hampshire resident. FRCC is also offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services to affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
