If you recently received a letter or an email from QPharma Inc. informing you that your sensitive personal information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. QPharma Inc. recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal information.

What Happened?

In December 2024, QPharma Inc. experienced a targeted cyberattack/data incident during which unauthorized actors accessed certain files containing personally identifiable information. A class action lawsuit was later filed (Cook v. QPharma Inc., filed March 27, 2025), alleging QPharma failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures. The court granted preliminary approval of a class action settlement on March 9, 2026, and the settlement is stated to cover U.S. residents whose personal information was potentially compromised in the December 2024 incident, including individuals who received notice of the data breach. Court documents indicate approximately 937 individuals are covered. The settlement provides for cash reimbursement for documented losses (up to $750 for ordinary losses and up to $5,000 for extraordinary losses), reimbursement for up to four hours of lost time (at $20/hour, subject to the $750 cap), and two years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete, or alternatively a $50 cash payment without proof. Claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by July 7, 2026. A final approval hearing is scheduled for July 13, 2026.
