What Happened?

The incident was discovered on May 7, 2026. University of Dallas then reviewed the affected files to determine what information may have been exposed and to identify potentially impacted individuals. On May 29, 2026, University of Dallas began sending notifications to affected individuals regarding the incident. The University stated that the total number of individuals affected was not disclosed, and no specific threat actor has been publicly identified.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
